Zandile nzalo daughter: Zandile Nzalo was born in Swaziland within the 1980s. She moved to Johannesburg and had the chance to host her own radio and tv shows on the previous Radio Bop and Bop TV. Zandi Nzalo was married to radio and tv personality Bob Mabena for 20 years and divorced in 2009.
Zandile Nzalo’s career took a serious turn in 1997, with the establishment of Channel O, Africa’s first 24-hour music channel on DSTV, where she became the overall Manager for the station for 3 years.
Following a successful tenure at Channel O, in 2002 Zandile founded her PR agency, Zanenza Communications, which initially focused on PR and communications, and operated from her backyard cottage, before moving to an office park in Randburg.
The addition of an events management division and, a couple of years later in 2014, a décor hire component, meant that Zanenza would have the chance to plan and execute major events for organizations like the National Empowerment Fund (NEF), The Department of Human Settlements and PIC.
Zandile ‘s passion for youth development in 2009 led to the creation of FindYoFayah (FYF), an NPO and CSI initiative by Zanenza, aimed at empowering unemployed children through training, entrepreneurial development, and mentoring. In 2017 Zandile was nominated for the Fastest Growing Business award from WEConnect International.
