Fireworks erupted outside Linwood Public Charter School in Shreveport on Sunday afternoon as the guys were recording “The Crate Challenge,” a viral TikTok craze in which individuals attempt to walk over a towering pyramid-like construction built of plastic crates without destroying it.
Within seconds of the gunshots being heard, a guy can be seen cautiously going on the plastic crate pyramid while at least three people wait by and watch him tackle the challenge. The footage was uploaded on Twitter by a person who also caught the firing itself. It appears like the individual who was filming the video fled the scene and took cover behind a nearby car.
Two individuals were confirmed dead when gunfire erupted in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Sunday while people were filming a guy doing the Milk Crate Challenge, according to media reports. A man and a woman were murdered in the shooting, according to the reports.
The event was captured on video, and it shows an unidentified man working his way up the milk box pyramid as bullets begin to go off and bodies begin to spread around him. Paris King, 19, was discovered dead in the back of a car, according to KSLA. Lazarus Thomas, 34, was murdered in the firefight, and Lazarus Thomas’ brother, Lazarus Thomas, 34, was also slain.
