Utah Football Players Death: In connection with the death of University of Utah football player Aaron Lowe, a man was detained early Sunday and charged with murder, according to police.

Salt Lake City police arrested Buk M. Buk, 22, in connection with the killing of Lowe on September 26 after a gunshot at a house party. Buk was charged with murder.

Buk has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder, one count of attempted murder, and one count of criminal discharge of a weapon. A 20-year-old woman who “underwent extension surgery” and is still in serious condition, according to police, is also being held on suspicion of shooting him.

The incident took place at a home party only hours after the squad defeated Washington State University, according to the authorities. There has been no indication of a motive, and it is unknown if Buk has legal counsel.

According to the allegations, the incident occurred when unauthorized visitors, including Buk, came to the party and the host began requesting individuals to leave, prompting the host to open fire. Noise complaints had also been lodged with the police department by neighbors.

According to the allegations, a lady called Fuamoli Pomale, 20 was attempting to defuse the situation when Buk took a pistol from another guy at the party and opened fire.

Besides her chest and neck, Pomale was hit in the spinal cord and other soft tissues, which has left her unable to talk, according to officials. She was wounded in the chest and neck, authorities added. According to court papers, she instead wrote her responses to investigators’ queries or responded with non-verbal gestures when asked questions.

On Christmas 2020, Lowe, a cornerback from Mesquite, Texas, died in an accidental shooting, nine months after his teammate and fellow Texas native, running back Ty Jordan, was killed in the same manner.

It is unknown if Buk has retained the services of an attorney who could speak on his behalf. Lowe, a native of Mesquite, Texas, was recently named the inaugural winner of the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship, which was established in memory of the former University of Utah running back who died in December of that year.

High school teammates in Mesquite, Nevada, Jordan and Lowe were both recruited by Utah, and Ute’s credit Lowe for encouraging Jordan to return to the school after he had previously decommitted. Lowe changed his jersey number from No. 2 to No. 22 when Jordan passed away in order to memorialize his buddy.

“Ty made everyone around him better,” Lowe remarked when he was presented with the award in August. “He helped me get well. My connection with Ty meant a great deal to me since he was always encouraging me to do my best. He never let me settle for anything less than the best. I want to make certain that his legacy continues through me.”
