Tiger Town Documentary: Mr. Justin Pascoe, the CEO of the Wests Tigers, is looking forward to seeing the premiere episode of an exceptional new documentary series, Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town, which will cover the club’s 2021 campaign.
The four-part docu-series, which is the first of its type, will feature the finest in sports documentary storytelling and will be available to watch on Foxtel and stream on Kayo, among other platforms.
It will begin on Monday, July 19, with episodes two and three followings in successive weeks (August 9th and 16th), following the conclusion of the Olympics.
The last episode will show on Monday, August 30th, just in time for the NRL Grand Final.
“This decision was made with Fox more than a year ago,” Pascoe explained.
“It’s really essential to recognize and acknowledge that the club has taken a very courageous step in making this choice. The responsibility of providing our Members and fans with unprecedented access, as well as rugby league enthusiasts in general, reflects the passion that every single individual associated with this club has for making it great in the first place.
Wild Wests: Tales From Tiger Town, a four-part documentary series covering the Wests Tigers’ 2021 season, has premiered on Netflix. The series promises an uncensored look inside the Wests Tigers – from the boardroom to the locker room.
As the first episode of the four-part series airs, the joint venture sits two points outside the top eight, and the first episode of the four-part series takes viewers back to the first day of pre-season.
Although this season has been frustrating on the field for everyone associated with our club, we have always been steadfast in our commitment to giving our members and supporters unparalleled access into the workings of our club – win, lose, or draw,” Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe stated.
It has been a long time in the making, but rugby league fans are now getting their wish to see The Greatest Game Of All on film. Will it be able to live up to the hype? This is something we are going to discover. Will there be any Michael Maguire-related explosions? As a matter of fact, the first one will just take 25 seconds to complete.
The Wests Tigers were defeated by the Parramatta Eels by a score of 36-22 after scoring two tries in the span of three minutes.
After suffering their third loss in four games, but after coming so close against championship contenders, coach Michael Maguire was on the edge of tears as he addressed the squad.
Maguire’s impassioned message to the group was caught in the first episode of Wild Wests: Tales from Tiger Town, a four-part documentary series on Fox Sports that will air in the fall.
When speaking to the players in the locker room following the game, Maguire was obviously pleased with the team’s defensive effort.
Only a week ago, it was non-existent in a crushing 40-6 loss to the Roosters, but this time, just as the Eels appeared to be running away with the game, the Tigers hit back.
