Sigourney Weaver Character In Alien: Susan Alexandra “Sigourney” Weaver is an actress from the United States. The Alien franchise’s Ellen Ripley, who is widely recognized as one of the most influential female characters in cinema history, was played by Weaver, who is widely regarded as a pioneer of action heroines in science fiction films.

She has received numerous honors, including a nomination for an Academy Award for her performance in the franchise’s second episode in 1986.
