Shane Dawson New Video: Shane Lee Yaw, better known by his stage name Shane Dawson, is an American YouTube personality. He rose to prominence as one of the first people to gain widespread exposure on the video-sharing website YouTube.

Dawson began posting videos on YouTube in 2008 when he was 19 years old, and by 2010 had amassed almost half a billion views. A large portion of his early work was comprised of sketch comedy videos, in which he would portray original characters, impersonate celebrities, and poke fun at popular culture in general. Following their release, some of these impressions garnered criticism for their objectionable content, which included racial stereotypes.

At this time, Dawson also had a brief musical career, releasing six original songs, including “Superluv!” and countless parodies of popular music videos, all of which were well received. After launching his podcast, Shane and Friends, which ran for four years and generated 140 episodes, he moved on to other projects.

Dawson’s first and only feature film, Not Cool, was released the following year, and he also participated in the ten-episode docuseries The Chair, which accompanied the film. In addition, he has acted in the films Smiley (2012) and Internet Famous (2013). (2016).

Dawson began his YouTube show about conspiracy theories in 2015, and his web series Conspiracy Series with Shane Dawson, which premiered in 2019, is part of that show. A docu-series on YouTube, entitled “Reconciliation with My Absent Father,” was released in late 2017 in which he reunited with his absent father.

Dawson co-created and featured in The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star, a docuseries that follows the life of Jeffree Star that gained over 130 million views on YouTube from 2019 to 2020, which she also directed.

His most popular docu-series are about Jake Paul, Jeffree Star, and TanaCon, and they have had the most views.

According to the most recent available data, Dawson has published two New York Times best-selling books, I Hate Myselfie (2015) and It Gets Worse (2016), and his three YouTube channels have received more than 4.5 billion views. His most active channel, Shane, has 20 million subscribers and has received more than 4 billion views since it launched in 2017.

Due to widespread criticism of Dawson’s previous inflammatory comments, YouTube terminated revenue for all three of his YouTube channels on June 30, 2020, with no plans to reinstate it. On October 7, 2021, he will make a return on YouTube.

In spite of the fact that he has stepped away from the limelight, Shane hasn’t fully avoided the limelight. Shane was involved in an altercation between Jeffree Star and Trisha Paytas in January of this year. And, despite the fact that he did not publicly remark on the issue, Trisha ended their 12-year friendship.

Now, Shane has intimated that he may potentially return to YouTube after taking some time off to care for his “mental health.” He posted on the Community page of his second YouTube channel Shane Glossin’ on Wednesday (Mar. 24), marking the first time he has done so in nine months. Shane Glossin’ is a cosmetics practice channel that he started in 2019 to improve his makeup abilities.
