Reality Tv Star Charged With Assault: Bill Hutchinson, 63, a reality television personality and the owner of the W Hotel and Virgin Dallas, has been arrested and charged with sexual assault, a second-degree crime, in Highland Park, Texas, authorities said.
He turned himself into Highland Park DPS on Wednesday, July 7, after appearing on the Lifetime television series “Marrying Millions.” He was eventually freed on a $30,000 bond after posting a $30,000 cash bond.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed on June 29, a 17-year-old girl who was living with Hutchinson and his family said that Hutchinson improperly touched her many times while she was in her bedroom. Hutchinson was arrested on the charges.
William Hutchinson, a developer and reality television star, entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl at his Southern California vacation house.
He declined to comment after the hearing in Orange County Superior Court, telling reporters: “Have a nice day, no thank you” as he got into his car, according to the Orange County Register. He is still free on $100,000 bail.
He is most known for his two seasons on the Lifetime reality series “Marrying Millions,” which documented his courtship with Brianna Ramirez, who was then 23 years old at the time. He is the sole owner of Dunhill Partners, a commercial real estate business based in Texas that builds, rents, and maintains retail complexes and other assets around the United States.
Multiple sexual assault allegations against a reality television personality and renowned Dallas developer have been filed in both Texas and Dallas.
He is suspected of sexually abusing three teenagers, and detectives have discovered video evidence that corroborates their allegations.
Bill Hutchinson was detained in Highland Park on Tuesday for a charge stemming from the city of Dallas. He was arrested for the second time on Wednesday in connection with the accusations stemming from Orange County, California.
The 63-year-old claims he is innocent, according to TMZ. Hutchinson is a well-known developer who is also the owner of the Virgin Hotels Dallas hotel. Additionally, he and his 23-year-old fiancée were featured in the Lifetime television series “Marrying Millions.”
According to an affidavit for an arrest warrant, a 17-year-old girl said Hutchinson sexually touched her when she was at a party. She explained that she had been staying with his family in Highland Park so that she could finish the school year after her family relocated to a new location.
Prior to the release of the California accusations, Hutchinson disputed the Texas allegations, telling the Dallas Morning News that “everyone who knows me in this city knows that I am not capable of sexual or other forms of abuse.”
According to the Morning News, the 17-year-old Texas girl said that Hutchinson provided her with booze and marijuana, and that she fell asleep on his couch in Highland Park after being given the drugs. She claimed that when she awoke, he was sexually assaulting her in her bed.
Hutchinson, according to the claimed victim, reportedly provided beer and marijuana to other adolescent girls.
In the Lifetime reality series “Marrying Millions,” Hutchinson follows his engagement to Brianna Ramirez, a 23-year-old lady, and their subsequent marriage.
