Mike Whan Salary: As one of the longest-running commissioners, Mike Whan is a Commissioner of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association). As a commissioner, Mike began working with LPGA in 2009 and is working until now. In 1995, Taylor Made Golf Company was joined to the Taylor Made Golf Company as Vice-Chairman Marketing. He also worked in companies such as Mission Itech Hockey and Taylormade Adidas Golf Company.
During his four-year term he was promoted to Vice President Sales and Marketing of Taylormade-adidas Golf and finally to EVP/General Manager North America. In his position as CEO, Whan’s business unit accounted for more than 70% of global revenue and volume.
Whan served as Chairman of Britesmile, Inc. from 1999-2002 and Chief Marketing Officer for the Project Hockey hockey, a hockey-equipment company, before returning to sports. He restructured and redefined the organization during his seven-year hockey career.
