How Old Is David Brooks: Conservative political and cultural analyst David Brooks writes for The New York Times, where he is a columnist. He has worked as a film critic for The Washington Times, as a reporter and later as an op-ed editor for The Wall Street Journal, as a senior editor at The Weekly Standard from its inception, as a contributing editor at Newsweek and The Atlantic Monthly, and as a commentator on NPR and the PBS NewsHour, among other positions.
Born in New York City, Brooks grew up in Pennsylvania and attended the University of Chicago, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 1983. As a police reporter for the City News Bureau in Chicago, he built a reputation for himself before joining the Washington Times in 1984, where he wrote editorials and film reviews.
He began working for The Wall Street Journal in 1986, initially editing the publication’s book reviews and temporarily serving as a film critic. He left the paper in 1997. He later worked as an editor and foreign reporter for the paper out of its Brussels headquarters. By the time he left the Journal in 1994, he had risen to the position of editor of the paper’s opinion page.
When The Weekly Standard magazine was first published in 1995, he was promoted to the position of senior editor. He also worked as a contributing editor for the magazine Newsweek. After graduating from Columbia University in 2003, Brooks began writing an opinion column for The New York Times. The following year, he began appearing as a guest commentator on the PBS news program The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer (later called PBS NewsHour).
During his first few days at Grасе Hurсh School, David Rooks spent time with the students. His first school was an elementary school, and he was later admitted to Radnor High School. He has completed his secondary education from this location and has since transferred to the University of Chicago.

In his early years, Dаvd rооk was involved in a handful of romantic relationships. Despite this, he is now a happily married man. David has been married twice before in his life. In 1986, he tied the knot with Sarah Rooks for the first time. During his time in school, Dаvd met Sara when he was accustomed to studying. They became friends and later married in 1986, after which they had a child.
They had a very beautiful life together, and they were quite close. They do, however, share a very strong bond amongst them. In 2014, Dаvd rооk was legally separated from his wife, Sara. They were having disagreements with one other, which was causing some disarray in their relationship at the time. Later, Dаvd married his former research assistant, whom he had met through a mutual friend. She was 23 years younger than he was at the time of their wedding, yet they were married to one other in 2017.
