The city of Toronto stated at the time, “Mark Budzinski exited tonight’s game in the early stages, as many of you are probably aware. He is getting assistance from Charlie and the rest of our coaches while he works through a personal issue. We would want to urge everyone to kindly respect Bud’s need for privacy at this time out of regard for him “According to ESPN.

On Sunday, it became public knowledge that Budzinski’s eldest daughter had passed away because of an accident while tubing on the James River in Richmond, Virginia.

Julia was reportedly murdered after she fell off her tube and into the river, as was reported by CBS-6 Richmond. A representative for the Department of Wildlife Resources informed the outlet that a rescue boat on its way to collect her and her pals encountered a wave, which caused the boat to be thrown on top of her, resulting in the propeller hitting her. The boat was on its way to fetch her and her friends.

According to the Associated Press, she was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead shortly after arrival.

Paige Pearson, a spokesman for the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources, stated that Julia Budzinski was one of two children who went from a tube being dragged behind a boat on the James River in Richmond on Saturday. The tube was being towed by another boat.

According to Pearson, while the operator of the boat was returning to retrieve the girls from the sea, the boat was struck by a wave, which resulted in it being forced on top of Budzinski and caused her to be struck by the propeller. Both the driver of the boat and the operator of another boat that was nearby dove into the water to save Budzinski, but he was declared dead when he arrived at the hospital.

Pearson said there are no suspicions of foul play and that drinking was not a role. She referred to the event as a “trag accident” in her statement. A memorial was organized on Sunday night at Glen Allen High School, where Budzinski was a rising senior and participated in soccer and other sports. The word of the disaster began to circulate shortly after the service began.

According to the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Department, Madison Bradley’s corpse, also 17 years old, was retrieved from the Blind River after two days had passed.

At around 5.40 p.m. on Monday, agents received a complaint that Madison was missing. Madison was located a few hours later. The youngster and five other individuals were traveling on a pontoon boat together when the incident occurred. According to the agents, she was with a male passenger and riding in the ship’s bow in front of the protective barrier.

After the boat collided with the wake of another boat traveling in the other direction, the two were thrown into the sea. According to the agents, Madison could not resurface after sustaining severe prop hits, while the male passenger could resurface and only had minor injuries.

Mike Bradley, Madison’s father, said to Fox8Live that his daughter “had her entire life ahead of her and the world has truly lost something.” Her mother, Leigh-Ann Bradley, claims that her family was used to spending time on the sea.

She said that her family owned a boat on the Rigolets and often went out on the water. According to Fox8, the person who was piloting the boat, David Crowe, 33, was taken into custody by the LDWF and charged with vehicular murder, operating or driving a watercraft while intoxicated, and careless operation of a vessel.

According to Sergeant Jeff Lanoux of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, “there was alcohol detected, and when impairment is taken, he was escorted to another place where we put a breathalyser on the 33-year-old motorist.”

After being arrested and placed into the Livingston Parish Jail, he is now out on a bail of $101,000. Before the conclusion of the series on Sunday, there was a moment of reflection for Julia Budzinski.

After the game, the manager of Toronto’s team, Charlie Montoyo, said, “My heart hurts for Bud.” “There are noble men and there are magnificent guys. He is a really great person. He belongs to a unique category of people. His family is really wonderful. The only piece of information I have to provide on what took place is that he left a message for the team. The fact that he accomplished this despite the terrible circumstances he was going through reveals every aspect of his character.”

Mark Budzinski received his degree from the University of Richmond in 2003 and went on to play for the Cincinnati Reds until calling it quits in 2005; following his time as a manager in Cleveland’s minor league system; he joined the coaching staff of the Indians, who were then known as the Cleveland Indians, in 2017. In November 2018, Toronto decided to employ Budzinski.

As the second game of Saturday’s doubleheader against the Tampa Bay Rays progressed into the third inning, Budzinski made his exit from the game. Luis Hurtado, a relief catcher with the Blue Jays, was called to take his position after the team released a statement saying he was “dealing with a personal problem.”

The pitcher for the Blue Jays, Ross Stripling, had this to say: “It’s pretty difficult.” “It’s not a circumstance that many of us have ever been in when someone close to home suffers such a horrible loss. It’s not something that happens very often. It has a somewhat different impact on everyone, particularly those of us who also have children. It was something that bothered us… Everyone’s thoughts and prayers were with him on this day.
