Ashley Peacock wife: The character Ashley Peacock is a fictitious character who appears on the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street. Tracy Barlow battling for her life was Ashley, who appeared on TV during the episode which aired on 1 February 1995. The police intended to arrest Claire despite her assertions that she just shoved Tracy. But the Corrie viewers witnessed Claire get into a vehicle driven by Jason Grimshaw with her stepson Joshua and son Freddie in the rear. Becky McDonald and Graeme Proctor coordinated Claire’s escape with a group of other people, and they prepared passports for her as well. Then Steve McDonald and Tina McIntyre set up a ruse to trick the CID officers expecting to apprehend her upon her escape.

In the months leading up to Charlie’s death in January 2007, Claire stands by Tracy when she is charged with murder and later testifies in her favor during the trial. Claire’s mental condition is refuted when it is raised by the prosecution.
With the introduction of “Women in Crisis,” Claire starts working for Weatherfield’s hotline, where she meets and becomes friends with KC Carswell, who has lost her kid (Zoe Henry). When KC takes Freddie without telling Claire, they argue. The Peacocks’ home catches fire in May of 2007. After she is rescued from the building on fire, Claire learns that Freddie is missing and presumed dead. An accelerant was found near the origin of the fire, and investigators established that it was intentionally set.
Her prior mental illness is suspected of being the cause of the fire, While hiding from her stalker, Claire assumes that KC started the fire. After she meets her neighbor Ashley, KC has an affair with her. Claire and Ashley disappear from the show after his affair is discovered but are later brought back when it is discovered that KC set the fire, and Claire rescues her from dying herself and Freddie after abducting him. He went through quite a bit during his time on the program, such as becoming the victim of the tram accident.
