As part of the competition, which will take place on three continents, some of the world’s finest players will partner up with amateur golfers to fight for a $1 million prize pool.
Team captains will select one professional teammate from a pool of candidates using a proprietary draught mechanism before being assigned a third through a random drawing. Each team will have one amateur golfer to round out the roster.
In addition to competing for the team trophy, the pros will compete for an individual title, which will provide Rolex Rankings and Solheim Cup ranking points, as well as being included in the Race to Costa del Sol Official Rankings.
