Adam Kinzinger Threatened

Adam Kinzinger Threatened: Rep. Adam Kinzinger is providing a first-person account of the threats that he and his family have faced as a direct result of his open criticism of the administration of former President Donald Trump.

A threatening letter that had been received at the Republican’s house and addressed to his wife, Sofia Boza-Holman, who had previously worked as a communications aide for the Vice President of the United States at the time, was published on Twitter by the Republican on Sunday.

The letter, which was clearly written by hand and seems to have been delivered without any identification, makes reference to both Christian, the couple’s 5-month-old kid, as well as Adam, who is 44 years old.

According to what is said in the letter, Adams’ actions have caused harm not just to our nation but also to a great number of families that respect God and are patriotic. “As a result, he will be put to death, even if the process might take some time. But don’t be concerned! Both you and Christian will be sent to damnation with Adam.”

In the letter, Kinzinger was referred to as a “pimp,” and it was said that he “not only betrayed his promise, but he sold his soul.”

“The actions of Adam have caused harm not only to our nation but also to a great number of families that are devout and patriotic. As a result, he will be put to death, even though the process might take some time. But don’t be concerned! You and Christian will be sent to the same place as Adam in hell.” The letter went on from there.

Christian is the name of Kinzinger’s infant boy who is now five months old. The letter continued with the statement, “We find it insulting that you label the son of the devil Christian!”

On the letter, there was no clear indication of a sign-off. The day prior, Kinzinger was a guest on ABC’s “This Week,” where he discussed the letter. He spoke about his work on the House committee that is examining the incident in the Capitol and stated that the fact that he is one of just two Republicans on the committee makes him vulnerable to threats. He highlighted his work on the committee.

Kinzinger stated to the host of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Wolf Blitzer, that the threats against him have only increased as the House committee prepares for its fifth hearing on Thursday about the events leading up to a pro-Trump mob storming the U.S. Capitol last year. The hearing will focus on the events leading up to the pro-Trump mob storming the U.S. Capitol.

“I even heard a message just this morning that threatened execution, and we received it last night,” she said. The congressman said that it “sort of seems like the standard thing to do today to simply threaten death.”

Kinzinger published on Sunday a letter in which an angry individual threatened to take the lives of him and his family, including his kid, who is only five months old.

According to what he shared with Blitzer on Wednesday, “It was important to put out there to show the depravity of what’s existing out there, the fact that there are people that literally would come up with this idea of killing a 5-month-old because you disagree with me being on the Jan. 6 committee.”

He said, “But what this demonstrates is that when you stir up evil, when you put light into a dark environment, you watch cockroaches become agitated and flee.”

Kinzinger said that he has increased security in response to the threats that have been made. Following the unrest that occurred on January 6, 2021, the congressman, who is not seeking reelection, was one of ten Republicans in the House of Representatives who voted to impeach former President Trump.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a member of the panel investigating the assault on the Capitol, has said that he received a letter at his residence with a threat to “execute” him and his family as retaliation for their participation in the investigation.

Mr. Kinzinger, who is one of two Republicans serving on the committee with Congresswoman Liz Cheney, disclosed to ABC News on Sunday that he had only “got a couple of days ago” the threat that may end his life.

The Illinois Republican offered this explanation when asked about the danger: “This threat that came in, it was sent to my residence.” “We received it a few days ago, and it threatens to execute not only me, but also my wife and our five-month-old kid,” the message said.

Despite Mr. Kinzinger’s longstanding criticism of former President Donald Trump, he went on to declare that he had “never seen or seen anything like that” in the past.

The congressman then uploaded a picture of the letter – written to his wife – on Twitter with the caption: “The Darkness is spreading courtesy of cowardly politicians frightened of truth. Is [this] what you want, @GOP? [email protected] Pastors?”

The message, which was sent to Sofia, Kinzinger’s wife, began as follows: “That pimp you married not only betrayed his pledge, he sold his soul.”

The letter then goes on to chillingly warn her husband will be “executed.”
Therefore, he will be put to death, even if the process may take some time. “But don’t worry! You and Christian [the couple’s young son] will be joining Adam in torment too!”

In an interview earlier on ABC News’ “This Week,” the congressman claimed his wife got the letter a few days ago.

The presenter, George Stephanopoulos, questioned him about whether or not he and his family are concerned about their safety. “This threat that came in, it was addressed to my house,” Kinzinger, one of only two Republicans on the House panel investigating the Jan. 6 violence at the U.S. Capitol, said. “We received it a few days ago, and it threatens to execute not only me but also my wife and our 5-month-old kid,” the message said.

“We’ve never seen or seen something like that,” Kinzinger told anchor George Stephanopoulos on Sunday. “It was sent from the neighbouring area.”

Kinzinger posted a picture of the letter on Twitter on Sunday. The letter was written to Kinzinger’s wife and said in part that the Illinois Republican “will be executed” and that his wife and kid “will be joining Adam in hell also.” The message further threatened that Kinzinger “will be killed.”

“We can have no doubt that 80 percent of the country is going to believe what their leaders are saying,” he said. “If you’re going to stand in front of those people and lie to them and tell them Donald Trump’s right, the election was stolen, because that has you giving me $20 when I send you the next e-mail, or it’s way easier for my primary election,” he said, “we can have no doubt that those people are going to believe what their leaders are saying.”

It was revealed that a threatening letter had been sent to the Kinzinger family on the same weekend that Representative Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) and his staff were confronted by a number of far-right activists at the Republican Party of Texas Convention in Houston. These far-right activists included members of the extremist group known as the Proud Boys.
